New Jersey couple, Marc and James were looking for an elegant finca as a backdrop to their decorative inspiration. Having attended many of their friends weddings in the States, they also wanted to do something a little different. And we were delighted to help them.
The details, the decoration, the emotions, the speeches, the fun, the food, the cocktails, the celebrations and the dancing – their Big Day was epic!
Getting started
When Marc and James came to meet us in September 2021 from New Jersey, USA, we viewed Son Togores. They were a bit nervous on the way there, but ecstatic on arrival. It was even better than they had dreamed of!
Then Marc, James and several of their family members, enjoyed a wonderful food tasting with Fosh Catering. All went extremely well and ever since then we have had lots of charming contact with them via email, WhatsApp and WhatsApp video.
Marc describes himself as very detail-oriented, and we worked together to find just the right nuances and materials for the fabulous flowers and decoration.
Cocktails and canapés
Super important for this couple were having brilliant cocktails! They included Espresso Martini, Tommy's Margarita, Mojito Mallorquina and Daiquiri Mango.
We also had great fun selecting canapés and deciding on the beautiful table setting arrangements. They paired floral linen napkins with gold rimmed tableware.
Our planning included recommending fab musical acts, selecting top photographers and getting the best options for the events prior to their wedding too.
On the Big Day itself our crew was delighted to be assisting such a caring couple that spread love around them constantly. What an honour and pleasure it was creating Marc and James wedding in Mallorca!
Weddings back in business
It is estimated that around 50.000 wedding couples got married in the Balearic Islands in 2022. That is 20.000 more than in 2019, but due to the pandemic less than 3,000 weddings were celebrated in 2020, and many of the 2020 and 2021 weddings were rescheduled for 2022.
