Pretty in pink with a wedding in beautiful blush!

Blush pink has been a HUGE trend this year and our castle wedding this week went all the way, with a symphony of blush paired with elegant silver everywhere. It looked even more gorgeous in this historic setting than we had imagined!

To deck the wedding arch, there were four stunning flower balls with cream and pink roses, more roses and lilies with ivy strands and bouquets of softest pink for the bride and bridesmaids.

The mothers of the bride and groom had beautiful blush wrist corsages and the two flower girls, coronets of baby’s breath. The chairs for the bride and groom were dressed with blush pink chiffon with silk ribbons and decorated with blush and cream roses.

The cake was a stunning confection of palest pink frills and flowers.

Guests were welcomed to the castle at a rustic gothic arch with cava flavoured with strawberries, which lent a hint of blush to the refreshing golden fizz. The ceremony took in a huge shady pergola with a sea view just visible over the terrace behind our couple. 20160708_184602DThey were framed by the flower-decked arch. Then cava and canapés were served on a shady lower terrace before the couple appeared at the top of a majestic stone staircase to be greeted with a shower with fresh rose petals.

The dinner tables had been set out under majestic trees with the castle as a backdrop. Decorated with clusters of pale pink roses in round glass vases on round mirrors, the table were further embellished by groups of mercuried silver votive candles. Fairy lights in the trees and silvery uplighters created a magical atmosphere.20160708_180610

The cool white marble rooms of the castle had been magically transformed with pink lighting, creating a chic nightclub vibe for the couple and their guests to continue the dancing late into the night.
