This busy international couple wanted to take time out from her modelling commitments and his hectic DJ career to celebrate their wedding in style in the tranquil foothills of Mallorca's Tramontana mountains.
The pair wanted a truly luxe vibe for their wedding. We brought together a dream team to create their perfect décor, ceremony, wedding dinner and party. The villa they had chosen was a cool contemporary space, set among almond trees and newly-renovated with simple but elegant décor, comfortable rooms and a large pool.
The theme colours were pure white and gold and these were reflected in everything from the bride's bouquet and gold shoes to the chairs and the sumptuously-decorated cake.
For the ceremony, our team dressed a large four-poster canopy with white curtains and a top panel of pure white hydrangeas, white roses and gorgeous peonies. Two floral tie-backs of roses, peonies and hydrangeas anchored the flowing drapes at the sides and created a stunning backdrop for the blessing.
A pure white aisle carpet led from the villa, down a set of steps, around the pool and between the two rows of gold chiavari chairs, each dressed with flowing white chiffon strands. Elegant chandeliers on stands, dressed with white fabric and strands of ivy framed the ceremony area.
It was a glorious hot May day and the female guests all wore bright jewel colours in dazzling pinks, corals and yellows. The groom wore a white dinner jacket while the groomsmen looked super-cool in formal black dinnerjackets and shades.
During the morning our catering team had set to work in the villa's kitchen to create the wedding feast while we manouevred a huge imperial-style table into position by the pool and dressed it with a vast white cloth and elegant glass and dinnerware.
After the simple blessing ceremony, the couple were showered with fresh white rose petals. Then they and their enjoyed chilled cava on the terrace of the villa and delicious canapes of watermelon and feta cheese, bruschetta with figs, pork with apple, mini-paella and marinated prawn skewers.
Strands of fairy lights had been set up around and across the pool and as twilight fell, these began to twinkle against the deepening blue of the evening sky. Floating globe candles and cushions of floating white flowers decorated the surface of the pool while our Spanish guitarist played a mixture of traditional and modern classics to accompany the the wedding dinner.
This began with orange-marinated cod carpaccio and baby leaf salad with chargrilled peach, honey and Serrano ham. For the main course, there was a choice of roast beef and seared tuna with new potatoes and for dessert, delicious white chocolate pannacottas with strawberry & basil coulis.
Before the party and first dance, there was time to cut the cake. This ornate three-tier lemon-sponge was decorated with truly elaborate gold and white patterns and garnished with fresh white flowers.
By now night had fallen. Our groom had enlisted one of the island's best DJs to ensure the party went with a bang and after the dinner, the villa was transformed into the coolest nightclub on the island for a few magical hours.
