A RUSTIC VINTAGE FINCA WEDDING

This UK-based couple wanted to bring together his English family and her Spanish one with all their friends in a beautiful location for their special day. They chose our lovely finca mansion (Venue 227) which has the perfect flavour. Filled with historic heirlooms and portraits, this house has been in the same family for hundreds of years and the 15 comfortable rooms and suites, beautiful views and gardens make a delightful setting.

The guests were greeted with a welcome drink of fresh lemonade served from our rustic stand. Then the guests ascended to the rooftop terrace for the ceremony with the backdrop of the castle tower. The cream wedding pergola was dressed with ivy and cascades of fresh white and pink flowers and the seating was white benches. White parasols protected the guests from the heat of the sun and delicate harp music accompanied the ceremony. Then cava and canapes were served on the terrace so that guests could enjoy the unrivalled views over the valley to the mountains beyond.

The couple had continued the rustic vintage theme for the dinner and long wooden tables had been set out in the courtyard garden below, in the shade of two large shady trees. Festoon lights had been installed overhead to light the space for the evening. The tables were set with hessian runners overlaid with vintage lace. A helium-filled rose-gold 'LOVE' sign was suspended above the top table and jars of flowers in creams, blues and pinks with blue-green foliage brought colour and freshness to the look.
